Leanne Humphreys

Leanne Humphreys is a clinical psychologist who has worked with victims of trauma for fifteen years. She holds a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Sydney.

Leanne has initiated and managed a number of psychological treatment programs for trauma victims, including veterans of the Vietnam war and of World War II. In 1993 she developed a comprehensive inpatient treatment program for Vietnam veterans at St John of God Hospital, Richmond. This program was awarded the Private Hospitals' Association Annual Award for Excellence in 1994. In recent years she has developed an innovative program of delivering traumatic stress services to veterans in rural and regional areas.

Leanne has also been previously employed in the psychology department at the University of Sydney, and as the senior psychologist with IPS employee services.

Leanne has presented on the assessment and treatment of traumatic stress at a number of national and international trauma and psychology conferences.
